I understand "it was the young veteran who was attacked for expressing a form of non-vulger free speech on his t-shirt in a public forum" and I already stated above this was wrong of the attacker.

My comment was referring to the above quote. Whether you like the above peoples opinions or not, they still have a right to an opinion that is the point I was trying to make.
